Dr. Simon Evans

Dr. Simon Evans is a research scientist in the University of Michigan Medical School. His research is focused on the interaction between nutrition, exercise and stress disorders. A great deal of scientific evidence supports a link between pre-diabetic disease and depression. Dr. Evans is passionate about promoting good lifestyle choices that can help people avoid these disorders, which are becoming too common in adults and children in today's society.

Simon is also a nationally licensed youth sports coach and enjoys seeing kids find their potential to excel. He has played soccer all of his life, including at the collegiate and post-collegiate levels and has been volunteering his time as a youth soccer coach for the past two decades. Simon is currently the Head Coach for the Milan Youth Soccer Club.

Dr. Evans is the author of 'Brain Fitness: A recipe for Feeding your Child's Dreams and Unlocking their Maximum Brain Power'. The book focuses on simple strategies to help parents ensure that their kids develop to reach their physical and mental potentials.

Marne Evans

Marne Evans has a degree in Psychology with specializations in social and mental health and experience in counseling. She worked with developmentally disabled individuals for over ten years. She has also worked with homeless, mentally ill adults and troubled youth.

More recently, Marne has gained extensive experience in professional child care and actively volunteers in the school system where she enjoys helping kids reach their potential. She is devoted her own two children and is involved in positively nurturing other children in the community as well.
